Desert Cove is a school with an affluent status overall. Of the student population, 32% qualify for subsidized or free lunches. Thankfully, justice was served, and no other student at the school has to suffer this.

Sadly, “lunch shaming” is not an isolated issue in these two schools. The real danger is when it causes kids to start opting to skip their meals, which can hurt them academically or otherwise.
