Onlookers, Not Protesters
When the authorities visited the farm again, they were quiet and stood on a neighbor’s rooftop to see without being seen. They ended up witnessing something they could never have believed. The leopard cub was cuddled with the cow and did not harm any other animals.
What to Do
What could that possibly mean? Should the authorities do anything? They had no real reason to capture this beast. However, what if the leopard turned on the farmer, his animals, or his family? Were the village people safe with the leopard and cow’s friendship?
