Lauren was working her regular shift as a maid at a hotel, when she entered room 403. Upon entering, she noticed a small boy, who could not have been more than 10 years old, in the bed, seemingly all alone. Check out was at 10 in the morning, and she was in the room at noon, so clearly something was up. She tried to wake him up, but he didn’t respond. She immediately panicked and called for help.
Finding Him
She was so taken aback when she noticed the boy, and she couldn’t believe what was going on. The police said they’d arrive as soon as possible, but she was so jittery, she couldn’t sit still. She asked fellow hotel staff members if they had noticed anything amiss, but nobody had.

When the cops finally showed up, she had no new information. She hoped they would be able to figure things out, and she told them everything that had happened. She was then surprised when they didn’t seem to be taking things very seriously. They brushed her off, saying that his parents were probably around the hotel somewhere. Once she showed them what was under the blanket, they finally started listening…
