Richards loved her part in the 1999 James Bond movie and she recalls it with great fondness, “It was ‘brainy’, ‘athletic’, and had depth of character, in contrast to Bond girls from previous decades.” She even joked about how she looked as a scientist, saying, “These Bond girls are so outrageous and if I did really look like a scientist, the Bond fans would have been disappointed.”

Denise met her future husband, Charlie Sheen on the set of “Loaded Weapon”, although they didn’t appear on screen at the same time. At the time, Denise hadn’t spent much time talking to Sheen and neither of them thought about keeping in contact following the movie’s launch.
