James Taylor – 100 Million
James Taylor creates music through the brilliant combination of folk, rock, and pop sensibilities. James rose to stardom in the 1970’s as his writing and performance of sensitive/warmhearted songs gained much recognition. Throughout his music career Taylor has surely experienced positive many accomplishments like winning 5 Grammy Awards and having several of his albums go platinum. But his biggest claim-to-fame was first in 2000, when he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and then again in 2011 when he received a National Medal of the Arts.
Kenny Rogers – 47.5 Million
Kenny Rogers has no doubt enjoyed an enormous amount of success both on the country and pop charts. In 1978 Rogers released “The Gambler” which gave awarded him his second Grammy Award. Rogers additionnaly recorded a series of hits with country legends Dottie West and Dolly Parton. Continuing to remain a presence on the country charts while becoming an iconic artist, Rogers has also published numerous books, including a 2012 autobiography.
