The whole Pirates of the Caribbean franchise is a humorous, nail biting, total cholesterol rising, swashbuckler film saga. But there’s one scene in particular in the first film where Captain Jack Sparrow yells out, “On deck, you scabrous dogs!” You immediately see the characters run out of the scene, leaving a single crew member wearing a cowboy hat. We’re about 99.99999999999% certain that cowboys didn’t exist during the Pirate era.

There’s no way you missed this movie mistake – no way. In Star Wars IV: A New Hope, a Storm Trooper extra accidentally bangs his head on a sliding door but it was never edited out of the film! We hope someone sent that extra a gourmet fruit basket or something.
